5 Kilometer of sound ! Jeddah Yacht Club & Promenade

Ektar International has installed a professional outdoor audio solution at Jeddah Yacht Club & Jeddah Promenade.
The installation had to support the same sound at the same time, or different area along the 5 kilometer.

The 62-day start Feb 2 2022,project was highly publicized within the company, under the supervision of Ektar’s managing director, Moammar AlHarbi. In this capacity, Khaled Bouajaja, project director and technical director at Ektar, was responsible for the design and sound engineering with 26 technicians.
The solution of loudspeakers, Amplification, Switch, converter… that he chose was based on products from Ecler and Powersoft.
Two zones with different speakers:

• Marina Yacht Club: is equipped with the marvel Emotus 8 Black 60 watt. Two loudspeakers for each pole, one directs towards the cafe and restaurant, and the other directs towards the maritime promenade. With full control over multiple zones, and audio pre-inputs throughout the project.
• Jeddah Promenade: This area is equipped with more powerful 150 watt loudspeakers, it is the ECMP 8, installed in 8 pieces in the giant poles. and one for 4 meter pole. Also with full control over multiple zones, and audio pre-inputs throughout the project.

64 audio inputs are ready everywhere, and total control from any point.

Dante is the solution chosen by our engineer, the 4mm audio cable, fiber optic, to connect all the system that complete the audio configuration.

Apart from the loudspeakers, EKTAR also operated the audio system, to provide the customer with professional after-sales service.

After designing and installing the system, EKTAR stayed on site to play all the audio senarios and make sure everything worked as expected.
